Sherrie MedinaPrior to starting with ASU in 2005 Sherrie worked in high growth entrepreneurial settings. Most recently she worked within the chemical manufacturing industry for Pantheon Chemical with a business model focusing on replacing toxic chemicals and processes with environmentally safe, EPA recognized alternatives. At Pantheon Sherrie was the Director of Marketing handling organizational functions such as media, community relations, consumer and government affairs as well as employee and investor relations. Before working at Pantheon Chemical, Sherrie was the Creative Marketing Director for E2C (Engaging & Empowerment Citizenship), a national network of internet portals utilized by government and private groups to obtain accurate information about environmental hazards. Leading award-winning web and design teams, she has worked with many industry leaders such as British Petroleum, Ford Motor Corp, Microsoft and Kodak. She has also worked closely with the EPA and local and state entities gaining support and funding for environmental programs and products.

Prior to her start up experience Sherrie worked for the State of Arizona as the Director of Visual Arts for the Arizona Commission on the Arts. She has worked on several programs which showcased her dedication to education and advocacy for the arts. Working on the "Arizona Traveling Exhibition Program" she conducted educational work shops statewide guiding the public and artists on art education and funding opportunities.

Sherrie has a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Arizona State University and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Chicago's School of the Art Institute.
